Raluca is an educational leader with a Ph.D. from NYU and a B.A. from Harvard. She currently serves as Director of Modern Languages at the United Nations International School (UNIS, New York), where she leads a department spanning eight languages across three academic divisions.
Raluca brings candor and curiosity to her work, believes that clear is kind and that leadership is, at its core, an act of service. Empathetic and data-driven, she pairs strategic vision with thoughtful execution. Her work spans curriculum alignment, institutional governance, and cross-cultural diplomacy, with a focus on learner-centered approaches that deepen intercultural understanding.
